We are carefully monitoring FAFSA delays and will continue to support students in making informed enrollment choices. Additional information about support and flexibility will be communicated to admitted students when decisions are released.
FAQs
Delays in submitting or updating the FAFSA based on these technical issues will not affect an aid determination or the amount that financial aid eligible students will receive. At Skidmore, only the CSS profile (not the FAFSA) is needed upon application to receive a financial aid offer.
We understand that the disruption caused by the FAFSA delay could have a significant impact on students’ ability to determine which school they’d like to attend. Our Admissions team is ready to extend flexibility beyond the May 1 enrollment reply deadline for students who are unable to make an enrollment decision due to missing or incomplete financial aid offers from other institutions. Additional information will be communicated to admitted students regarding this process when decisions are released.
If you applied for financial aid, you will receive your financial aid offer via your Applicant Portal when you receive your admission decision.
